Welcome To Whitmore Online!

The design of the site has been kept as simple as possible so that visitors may find information quickly and easily. You can learn things here. For instance, clicking on any of the individual class links on the menu above will send you to an information portal for that particular class. There you can find information on class assignments, current downloads, or follow links to useful sites across the World Wide Web. I hope that you will find this site to be a helpful tool in a successful school year. If you find it lacking in some way, feel free to email me suggestions for improvement. Websites are never truly finished, because the web is constantly evolving.

Academic Integrity

The Edison High School English department is continuing its comittment to academic integrity by requiring all of its students to register at turnitin.com. It is our hope that this service proves to be enough of a deterrent that all students will resolve to complete their work without any violations of the school honor code. If you have any questions or concerns about turnitin.com or about plagiarism in general, feel free to contact me.

Contacting the Teacher

The best way to head off problems before they begin is to keep the communication lines between parents, students, and teachers open. I am available every morning during Tutorial (8:00-8:30). I am also available most afternoons from 1:00-2:30. My office phone is (714) 962-1356 ext. 4134. Usually, the way to receive the quickest response is by email. My email address is mwhitmore@edisonchargers.com.
