Work Samples Explanation
Preliminary: Wednesday, 9/3/14
Due Date: Friday, 9/12/14
After brainstorming some strengths, the student will create three work samples. Work samples are simply combinations or collages of pictures, drawings, letters, certificates, or any other means of demonstrating visually that the student has a positive quality for a work environment. The best samples should look professional, like a page in a magazine, and should show effort and creativity. Include a word that indicates the trait being shown somewhere within the visual. These visual representations of the student's qualities will be included in the student's ePortfolio.
Here is a partial list of important work-related qualities:
POSITIVE MINDED ENTHUSIASTIC QUICK LEARNER

This assignment is designed to prepare the student to sell his/her positive qualities during an interview. All files will need to be digitized after the initial assignment is turned in. This can be done by scanning the visuals, uploading them to Google Docs, or printing them with Adobe Acrobat to make them into pdf files. This is a requirement because the files will be uploaded to the student's CIBACS web page (ePortfolio).
